Hello, Taemoor! I actually discovered XMarks a couple weeks ago and have set it up across all my machines. It's a fantastic app. I didn't know you could access it from other systems the way you said, though... that's awesome! Thanks for the tip! :)

Hey Jon how are u doing
I use firefox Bookmarks tab which is much more sophisticated. But here is another really coooool app that i have been using for some time.
its called xmarks.
Now I don thave to back up my bookmarks. All I have an online account and a tiny icon at the bottom right of my firefox window. i righ click on it and I hit Synchronize now. It synchs all of my bookmarks and then when I am home I synch again and it updates my bookmarks over there. Also if I am not using my own computer I just go to my online account 'myxmarks' and I can see, click my bookmarks from there without even installing this app on that computer or keeping my bookmarks with me.. Its a very very handy and awsome application and its free.... :)
cheers

Sorry, not in the tab itself, but in the bookmark toolbar. If you follow the instructions you'll end up with a little square icon similar to what you get when you use App Tabs. The only time I don't make the change is if I have a site that doesn't have a favicon...

I don't have a 'Properties' dialog come up when I right-click on a tab. What version of Firefox?

Another option is to right-click on any tab in your toolbar -> select 'properties' -> and erase all text in the 'name' field -> then save. This will give you essentially the same functionality, except that you will have to actually wait for the page to load.

...on the other hand you don't have to have the potentially negative impact on browsing if you happen to have several tabs open that may be running movies or whatever...
