Another one that occurred to me as I was reading this (really a variation on #1) is something I come across almost every day at work. Don't forget to factor in time for reviews. Every time you send in some artwork to the art manager, you will get some sort of feedback. So, when Mr. Jones on Monday says "I want this done by Friday", make sure you send him something for first review on Tuesday, expect to not get feedback until Wednesday and then make sure you turn around revisions by Thursday. By the time deadline approaches on Friday, there really should be no surprises and only a few tweaks should be left at most. Oh, and make sure you are on the ball enough so that you don't run into a situation where you start blaming the client for not getting you feedback soon enough. Scott
