Rick, yeah, that's the worst part of it. I admit that a couple weeks ago, I bought everything Amazon had listed for Hellboy under the books category. Disposable income ahoy. :P

Pete, oh, I'm not anti-spending-money either. I've spent an obscene amount of money in the last several weeks on comic books, for example. heheh. I'm just speaking in terms of personal fiscal responsibility, which most people (including me) suck at.

Basically, I love the idea!
It's like, 'Every time I feel the urge to eat junk-food, I'll do 50 sit-ups instead!'. :)

BUT!
I'm a great fan of spending available money, to keep the economy running. I actually think, there's nothing bad about spending the money that you already own.
Infact giving money to your bank is bad for your country's economy, because it is withdrawn from the ever-flowing-circle of money. Money only being a tool to make trading more comfortable - which thus should be available in abundance to everybody...

Aah shit! I guess, I'm a geek or so. ;)

I'll try that sit-up-thing instead.

This is an easy trap to fall into in the games industry. Face it, we are FAIRLY well paid, and we work in a creative environment where people are buying books, games, music, DVDs etc. on a daily basis.

Impulse eBay buying is a bugger too - especially when childhood nostalgia kicks in.

Aww, does this mean I no longer get to live vicariously by watching you open your packages at work?
