Just random crap.

Ah, another great weekend.

Friday I went over to a friend’s house to spend the night and have another guy’s night playing games all night, only to find that his girlfriend would be there, that he was working on his car (which he does for hours at a time), and that he had to be up at 8am to work… I was there at about 8pm, and he was working on his car until 9:15pm, then we played video games for about 15 minutes before we all started watching a movie, and then at 10:15pm, he and his girlfriend went to bed and left me in the living room to watch a movie. WTF?

I got annoyed and watched TV for a while and waited until my parents were asleep so I could go the fuck home and they wouldn’t bug me about fixing my mom’s computer, which was broken, kinda semifried during a lightning storm. sigh. On the bright side, I found out upon returning home that I had been assigned some more work to do from Liquid on Mythica, which is great!

Saturday was, on the whole, much better. I went to my nephew’s 5th birthday party in the evening, then Dea and I went to see Finding Nemo. We were about 20 minutes late for it and there weren’t even two seats left together, so we exchanged our tickets to go see The Italian Job which was, to my great surprise and pleasure, pretty good. I was expecting a shitty movie because the trailer never really hooked me, but man, I was happy to see that it wasn’t crap, especially since I am a heist movie WHORE. Later, we had sex. Yay!

Today (Sunday), we went over to her dad’s house and chilled out all afternoon and hung out by the pool. I actually got in, which is odd since I generally hate swimming and pools with a passion. Guess I’m pretty relaxed there. That’s cool, because they’re all really awesome people.

After hanging out in the sun all day, her dad fixed a HUGE dinner. I had a steak, a huge piece of barbecue chicken, corn on the cob, a baked potato, a salad, and half a grilled onion. I gorged myself and loved every minute of it. The steak and chicken were so good with this badassed BBQ sauce (Head Country, only available in Oklahoma I think) that I actually got lightheaded and slightly dizzy from it. Best meat I’ve ever tasted. Everything was fantastic and I loved it.

After that we came back to my place and started watching a movie (Conversations on the Streets of New York or something like that, it had Ed Burns, Heather Graham and Hank Azaria in it) but then got pretty caught up in having AWESOME sex. After that I took her home and we watched The Time Machine on HBO. I was really surprised at how entertaining it was and how good most of the effects were. I wouldn’t mind seeing it again on DVD. I missed the first (I suppose) 15 minutes or so, but I got the rest. Good stuff. After that I watched Comedy Central while Dea slept for a while until Dea woke up and wanted me to leave because she couldn’t relax or whatever. Now I’m here.

Right now I’m kind of stalling and trying to avoid working on something for one of my jobs. I find it harder and harder to work on weekends now that I’ve begun to really enjoy my life and my time off work. I just wish it all amounted to more than it does. :P I was advised by a friend who works for Liquid not to try and live off of the money I earn from them due to extreme unreliability on their part, so I’m going to take his advice and look for something else to do and save my money the best I can. I’m raking in a pretty good load of money (or will be soon) so the more I can save the better off I’ll be.

Later this month I’m buying a GameCube. I’ve been planning on trading in my Dreamcast and all the games to get a discount on it. I’ve been craving one of these for a while, and I think the time is almost right. Later this month, the GC is going to come bundled with a free game AND a free Game Boy Player, which can play Game Boy Advance games through the Gamecube on the TV. Kickass!!

I’ve been playing more games lately. I installed Fallout Tactics last weekend and I’ve been having a blast with the singleplayer. I’ve never been into turn-based games before but MAN this shit is a blast! It’s tense and exciting as hell. I like getting to take the time to stop and think and plan out my actions with great precision. I’ve also started playing through Morrowind again. Dea bought the new Morrowind expansion pack, Bloodmoon, so I installed that and I’m intending on going through all of it all over again AND the new material for fun. I’d forgotten how much I loved this game. Hell, I’d forgotten how much I’d loved playing games in general. I usually go for months without playing ANYTHING at all. It’s weird being so involved in playing games now.

In fact.. heh.. FUCK. I need to finish skinmapping this model for the 4D Rulers project (unannounced) that I’m working on, but I’m really in the mood to play Morrowind. FAAAHHHKKKKkkkkkkkk!!!!

Well, wow, that was one gigantic load of textspew I shot right there. Hope the three people that know about this blog enjoy it. :P
