Fuck Jesus! Go Socrates!

dicket-wicket fart spooge.

Haven’t updated this shit in a while. What have I been doing?

Since my last update I went down to Texas for the weekend to hang out with a friend of mine. Played games nonstop, watched movies, and just had a shitload of fun in general.

After that, I got a new job working on a massively multiplayer online role playing game called Mythica that’s being published by Microsoft. That’s going to be paying fairly well. Just working on my first model for that now. Hopefully I’ll be earning enough from this and my other job at 4D Rulers to be able to get my own apartment soon!

Lately I’ve been reading a lot about Socrates. I’m finding more and more that he’s an individual worthy of study and admiration. Fuck Jesus, Socrates is where it’s at. I’m kind of amused at the realization that I’m starting to shift into being the exact opposite lifestyle of Christianity. Funny that I thought atheism \ witchcraft \ Satanism was the polar opposite. I never realized until now that they’re all essentially the same thing. There’s just as much mysticism and ignorant bullshit about them as there is Christianity, and there’s a natural knowledge limiter built into each. With the kind of Socratic dialogues and questioning and intensive thought and knowledge seeking I’m getting into now, I’m beginning to realize that it’s farther removed from mysticism than anything. For the first time in a while, I feel like I’m starting to get solid footing.

That’s all for now really, my brain is pretty fucked and I need to bust ass working for a few more hours.

Back from Nebraska.

Back from Nebraska now. Had a long, great, fun, exhilirating week. Worked a lot, worked out a lot, and just had fun. First time in a while I’ve had a chance to really just cut loose and have fun. Also a pretty great way to validate my choices in life, as a way of checking to see if this career is right for me and such… and yes, it so is. :)

I’m glad to be back home though. I had a hard time sleeping up there for some reason, and it really fucked my health every which way. I measure my mucus output in pounds by the hour, and I’ve got a nasty cough and a perpetual lightheaded detachedness that I’ve been learning to deal with. It’s weird turning over almost ALL conscious control of all of my motor functions to my subconscious, but I’m kind of getting used to it and it seems to be working out pretty okay, without any horrible side effects or anything.

Upon my return I found out that my fucking cordless phone died. Rather, just the AC adaptor, which I haven’t found a way to replace. So I just decided to put down $40 on a new phone instead. This one is pretty cool though, it has a jack for a headset and a digital answering machine built into the base, which is cool because I’ve never had a satisfactory answering machine solution, until now.

That’s about all I really feel like writing right now, though I think I’ll put in a note to myself to reapply to Amaze, Zombie and Surreal because they STILL haven’t responded to my repeated applications yet… so I’ll keep going until they do.
